3. Extrusion is the process

4. Mandrel wrapping is the
process of wrapping the extruded material around a mandrel. The mandrel is
typically made of metal or plastic and is removed once the hose has cured. The
mandrel provides support for the hose during the curing process, ensuring that
it retains its shape.
5. Vulcanization is the final step in the manufacturing process. The hose is heated to a specific temperature and then cooled. This process improves the strength and durability of the hose, making it more resistant to damage from abrasion, chemicals, and heat.
